Normally, S690QL1 steel plate is delivered in a quenched and tempered state, i.e. quenched + tempered. This heat treatment state not only improves the hardness and toughness of the steel plate, but also significantly increases its load-bearing capacity3

Surface quality requirements

If there are any of the above surface defects, they must be treated, and the treatment depth must not exceed half of the steel plate thickness tolerance to ensure the minimum thickness of the steel plate and smoothness without edges and corners.
