Nimonic 80A/UNS N07080 Sheet/Bar/Pipe

Nimonic 80A is a high performance superalloy in the family of nickel-based alloys designed for use in extreme temperature conditions. It combines excellent high temperature strength, good creep resistance, excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance, and good processing performance, so it is widely used in the manufacture of high temperature parts in aerospace, petrochemical, energy power generation and other fields, such as turbine engine blades, turbine disks, combustion chamber components.

Product Details

Alloy 80A (Nimonic alloy 80A) is a wrought, age-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy.Alloy 80Ais similar to alloy 75 but made precipitation hardenable by additions of aluminium and titanium. Alloy 80A has good corrosion and oxidation resistance and high tensile and creep-rupture properties at temperatures to 815ºC (1500ºF). Vacuum refined versions are also available. Alloy 80A is used for gas-turbine components (blades, rings, discs), bolts, tube supports in nuclear generators, exhaust valves in internal combustion engines and has many other offshore/marine, automotive and electrical applications.
